Man Accused Of Stealing From Long Island Store

Police investigators in Suffolk County are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a man who allegedly stole boots from an Islandia shoe store.

A photo has been released of a suspect by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, after he allegedly walked into Famous Footwear on Vets Highway at around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 and walked out without paying for a pair of Timberland boots.

Police said that the stolen merchandise has a value of approximately $175. No description of the alleged suspect has been released by investigators.

Anyone with information regarding the stolen boots, or who recognizes the suspect or has information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or sending a tip through their mobile app.
